Now if you want to plan a party or a tea party, you can always add club sandwich to the menu. As they add a fresher element and club sandwiches have the best quality of being served cold. So, you can make it before time and do not have to worry to reheat them. Now let us sum up the recipe for club sandwich. (the recipe is for a single club sandwich; you can make as many as you like by increasing the ingredient quantity)
Ingredients:
Bread 3 slices
(use sandwich bread)
Cheese 2 Slice
Cucumber 1
Tomato 1
Lettuce a couple of
leaf
Egg 1
Ham thinly
sliced
Mayonnaise 2 tablespoon
Boneless
Chicken 250 grams
Salt to
taste
Garlic 2-3 cloves
Black
pepper to taste
Oil 2
teaspoon
Instructions:
·
First take a pan and oil in it and fry the egg. The egg yolk
should be well cooked but not overly cooked to a rubbery texture. Set it aside
to let it cool.
·
Take garlic and just press it between the shelf and blade of
the knife to crush it. It will bring out its flavor.
·
Boil chicken with salt and crushed garlic for 20 minutes and
take it off. Break the temperature and roughly shred it. The garlic gives a
nice flavor to the shredded chicken.
·
Mix this shredded chicken in mayonnaise, salt, and black
pepper.
·
Now take the bread slices and place them on the grill pan
with a little oil to give a nice color and texture on the slice.
·
Take the first slice and place it on clean workstation. Then
put the mayonnaise and chicken mixture on it. You can add as much as you like
but if you add too much it will dribble out and will make a mess.
·
Then a cheese slice to it. Place a couple of sliced cucumbers
and tomatoes and top it with the second bread slice.
·
On the next layer, add lettuce leaf, thinly sliced ham and
place the already fried egg on top. Add the last bread slice and you have your
club sandwich.
·
You can serve the sandwich as a whole or can diagonally cut
it. Also, prick the sandwich with a toothpick to anchor the sandwich and it
will not fall apart.
Note:
You
can serve it with a creamy fresh salad. Just cut whatever you want in the salad,
your vegetables and you can also add apple or a fruit cocktail to it. Make a
mix of mayonnaise, salt black pepper and cream. Toss your veggies and fruit in
this mix and your salad is ready.
If
you want to make the sandwich a couple of hours before serving to save time
then cover the sandwich tray with a moist cotton cloth. It will keep the bread
moist and will not dry out.
